Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Ownership

My husband and I was legally divorced in the year 2000. Since then, I bought a home, as a first time buyer. My ex husband and I decied to give it another chance, as boyfriend and girlfriend, (we did not get remarried) and began living together in my home. Please advise if he would legally have any rights to my home in which I purchased. Our relationship is not going according to plan, please advise what I would have to do to have him legally removed from my property, he is not leaving on his own.

Re: Ownership

If you are divorced, your X has no claim on the house that you purchased after the divorce. If you want him out, simply tell him to leave. If he does not, call the sheriff. He is a trespasser.
