Legal Question in Civil Litigation in North Carolina

Hello : How long does it take for the "supreme court to L@@K at a Civil suite that was won for the "defendent" over a year ago & appealed to another court where 3 judges looked at the case & they desided 2 to 1 in my favor that the "superior court judges descison was correct but: the plantiff asked their attorney since the one judge left the door open to appeal it to the North Carolina Supreme court, & that is what they have done ,also I have heard that it would take up to yrs for them to even look at it

Because it is a "civil case , My attorney wants $1000.00 to do anything on this if it even needs anything done !! the case was won on the Grounds that the statues of limitation was out !!!

Are you going to file a Brief yourself, or do you want an attorney to do it?

It can take up to 2 or 3 years for the case to get through the entire process, but it is unusual for it to take that long. About 9 months is more like it.
