Bodily liabilty limits

Once my auto insurance bodily insurance has maxed out. No other insurance exsits. How long does the other guys attorney have to file suit to recover the balance.

The statute of limitation is 3 years from the date of the accident unless the injured party is a minor. Check with your insurance company to see if the injured party signed a release. Depending on how it is worded, they may not be able to recover any money from you.
