Legal Question in Insurance Law in North Carolina
My car was stolen
My car was stolen and found submerged in water. My insurance company wants proof of my income a list of all my depts and payments and all our utilities a copy of my bank statments and our cell phone bills. Do they legally have a right to this personal info ?

Most insurance policies have one or more provisions which require the person seeking coverage to cooperate with the insurer and to provide certain documents. You would need to review the terms of your particular policy to determine whether the insurer has those rights here. If you fail to comply with the policy provisions, then you may lose coverage.
