Suing a corporation with a d/b/a

If i want to sue aamco transmissions, and, the franchise id ''bobs transmissions service d/b/a aamco transmissions'' how do i state the defendants name on the summons?

In general, you would sue "bobs transmissions." These are, however, very tricky matters, and if you name the company incorrectly, then your case can be dismissed. Further, if the statute of limitations expires, then your claim will be dead. You may want to consult with an attorney in your area with more details.
