Legal Question in Personal Injury in North Carolina

I was in a T-bone car accident.I was at a stop sign when i seen no car approaching.As i was crossing a car was flying down the road and hit me on the back side if my car!Was it my fault or the other drivers fault?

These cases are always very tricky. The fact that you were hit in the rear of your vehicle tends to help your case. But ,the fact that you had the stop sign (and hence a duty to stop, look, and yield the right-of-way) tends to suggest negligence on your part (in which case you cannot recover for your losses). Obviously, if the other driver was speeding, and if you and/or other witnesses can corroborate this, then your case is enhanced. I tend to view this type of case as an uphill battle, but it is possible to prevail. You may of course want to consult with an attorney and provide him or her with more facts so that they can more fully assess your case.
