Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina
Property Management Issues
I m in CA and have 2 houses managed by a property manager in Charlotte, NC. Recently, we have issues with both tenants and managers and need to seek a legal advice. Do I have to contract NC attorney?

AS RE PPTY & TENANTS---
If ppty is in CA- deal w/ atty in
CA;
If ppty is in NC- deal w/ atty there.

AS RE BREACH OF CONTRACT (etc...) against mgtment co, then.....( though probably not practical....)
if u r in CA and desire to terminate Mgrs ( or, seek dmges of some sort agnst mgr...) and contracted via advertisement from mgtment Co. reaching out to CA; then dump him based upon CA (ie, where the contract was entered into...b/c probably would be the route of less resistance).

Yes you should contact a lawyer in NC. I have a referral for you if you need it.
Re: Property Management Issues
You'll be best off with an attorney licensed to practice in the state where the property is situated. If that also happens to be North Carolina, there you go. (I have seen some real estate investment promotions which used out-of-state property managers.)

Yes. A local lawyer will likely have the expertise you need available at a lower cost.
Re: Property Management Issues
That would probably be a good idea. Look for someone in the Charlotte area.
