Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

Real estate

Had a house built and moved in October 06. Did a walk through with the real estate agent and documented known things that were either unfinished or not in good condition. Nothing was ever done about those things so we called the builder in January, the builder came and we showed him the things that were not finished. He half way fixed some of them and said he would come to do the rest. It is now June and he has not made an effort to get any of the rest of our situation resolved. What are our legal rights in this situation? The thing that need to be done is drywall, paint, cabinets, screens, wiring to house, bathtub, front door and back door do not shut properly and are easily opened even if locked due to not latching when closed unless you lift up on the door to close it.

Re: Real estate

It sounds as if you did what you could by yourself. Find an attorney who can send him a demand letter and sue him if necessary.
