Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

My sister breached a contract in which we agreed that she takes over the mortgage that was on my name only to her name after that ill sign over my half of the deed to her. She had 24 months to do so and did not do anything, my credit is effected extremely.

So? If the mortgage is in your name, then between you and the mortgage company you are on the hook. If your sister has not paid for your share by refinancing the property in just her name, then you can sue her. You will also need to bring action to get the transfer rescinded if you already signed over your share of the land. Better get a real estate lawyer in the county where the property is situated if that is the case. If not, you may have to buy out her share (if she owns it) or the share of anyone else and you can then try and sell the land.
