Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

Speeding ticket 80 in a 65

Recently rented a SUV for week end trip. Not used to size and smooth ride on I85 in NC. Was clocked doing 80 in 65 in Norlina, NC. Have a clean driving record. (Last ticket was in 1990 for category of speeding.) Fine is $100 court and $25 fine. What are my chances of getting it reduced and what is the best course of action to take?

Generally you can get tickets reduced. Your best course of action is to show up or hire a local attorney in that County.
