Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

Ticket issued for speeding 21 miles and expired driver licencse

I got 2 tickets: one for speeding 21 miles and one for expired license. I don't have money to get a lawyer and I need to know what I can do. I have heard about Prayer for Judgement and Improper Equiptment but not sure what it's about. I have not had any driving violation the past 12 years. My driver license just expired 6 days when I got the ticket. Please advise what I can do when I go to court.

Bring your new driver's license with you and they will probably dismiss that. See if they will reduce your ticket to ten miles per hour over. If not, you can ask for a PJC - it can depend on the Judge. If this is Wake County, you will not get an improper equipment.
