Legal Question in Workers Comp in North Carolina

I crushed my dominant hand's index finger at work, and I will NEVER be able to bend it again due to the severe bone damage, and will NEVER regain feeling in the finger tip due to extensive nerve damage. Am I entitled to a percentage of permanent disablity compensation?

Yes. Your doctor will give you a rating at some point. And if you cannot return to your old pay rate as a result of the injury, then they may owe you more money than just the rating.

You may want to consult with a competent work comp attorney.
