Legal Question in Workers Comp in North Carolina

I was injured on my job. Workmans Comp was filed, but no one has every contacted me. The doctor has released me now. I was injured in my left eye, the injury cased my eye to be blurry all the time and they had to drill rust out of my eye. The doctor told me that my eye would never be the way it was before the injury and that glasses or contacts would help the blurriness or the glare that I have. It affects my driving and reading at time. Do I need to obtain an Attorney and what kind of an Attorney if I do need one. Am I entitled to a settlement since my eye will never be the same and should I have heard from Workmans Comp by now?

You do need a lawyer. The insurance company is ignoring you, in the hopes that you will go away and they will not have to pay you what you are entitled to get.
