I have been served a subpoena to be a witness, what will happen if I do not show up?

Re: Subpoena

The prosecutor could ask for a continuance without you there. The judge could order that you be arrested, could go on without you. You are technically incontempt of court, but it's entirely up to the judge to do anything at all.
