Not knowing what you do, he short answer is yes. Anytime you have a business you should protect your personal assets from being taken because of possible negligence on the job. An experienced attorney can guide you in the application with the Sec'y of State, draft an operating agreement, and give you guidelines on how to act as a business. If you don't do these things, if you are sued, your house may be on the block as well as other assets you own. Having an attorney do this before there is trouble is MUCH less expensive when you need an attorney to get you out of trouble. Also, you need to have good insurance.
