Legal Question in Technology Law in Ohio

What can I do to receive a refund on an internet service that I did not authorize? NetZero set up two accounts in Jan. 2008, when I thought I was registering for one account. In February of 2009 I cancelled the account that I established. I was reviewing my bank statement and noticed that NetZero was taking out $16.90 per month for another internet service that I did not authorize. I have contacted NetZero many times and they have basically told me that they are not legally responsible and that I should look at the contract and terms of agreement. I asked for a copy of the contract with my signature and they refuse! I have asked for an accounting of activity on the account in question and they refuse to give me any information. All I am asking for is a full refund of $321.10 which is the 19 months of billing they took from my account without my knowledge.

Your issue will be governed by Ohio law. But, basically, you should have an attorney write a stern letter to NetZero, and that may rectify the problem.
