Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio

If u have verbal agreement to pay a portion of what is owed and then they say that wasn't the agreement.can I take it to court for breach of contract?

Verbal agreements are enforcable in ohio. The problem is proving their terms and existence to the court. It usually gets down to whom the courts believe.

There are some contracts however which must be in writing. Usually these deal with contracts about land. Without knowing the subject matter of the contract it is difficult to say what the court would do.
