Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

Being sued by creditor

When a creditor sues ,what does it involve and what can i lose. They want me to pay 4,000 in 3 months which is not possible and they will not take a payment plan. They have turned me over to a collection agency, and they are the ones who are pursuing this case.Even though my house is nowhere being paid off can they put a lien on my house. My truck is paid off but 9 years old, can they come after my vehicle. What can they come after? I am self employed if that makes a difference in your answer . Thankyou
