Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

I was in blockbuster last week and i noticed a DVD case was open and a dvd was patially sticking out. I pulled on the disk and two disks came out. I put the DVD box on the shelf then put the dvds on the shelf also. I then rented a movie and left the store. I was arrested outside of the store for criminal damaging. I am in shock, should i take this case to trial.

You will want to plead not guilty at the arraignment and then get a lawyer to review the case. That lawyer will need to file a Crim. R. 16 Discovery request in order to take a look at the evidence against you (there may be a store camera or reports from a clerk). Then if there are holes in the case, you might be able to plea bargain with the prosecutor.
