Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

early release???

my fiance is currenty serving a 3 year sentence for tampering with evidence. he was sent to prison in july '08 and has not been home since. during the initial trail he pled guilty to the charges, simply because he though he was doing it for the first charge. he ended up getting charged with the second count which is not what he thought he was doin. he public gefender did not explain anything to him. now i want to file for a judicial release, i have a good lawyer...i think . i would kike to know what his chances are. this is his first felony, he has recieved his ged, taken anger management classes and aa. please give me any information that might be usefull to my situation

Re: early release???

put all your effort into that judicial release.....bring 5-10 people if you can and IF the court even sets a hearing...the motion can be denied without a hearing, so make sure letters are attached describing family and friends' need for him to be out....... having a job opportunity is critical...
