Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Gang Assault 2nd Degree

I've been charged with this and am wodering what i am looking at, i have representation and have lived in the same county for 15 years, have held a job at the same place for 3 years, have a 15 month old daughter am engaged to marry the mother who i live with as well. The other two parties involved, 1 is facing it with the 1st degree, and the other is in the same boat as me with the 2nd. The officers found brass knuckles at the scene and i'm not sure if that will affect my case when the one gentleman is getting the 1st degree.

What happened was they were fighting and i ran in to try and help them out and ended up in the middle of it, i wasn't trying to fight with them, but it just happened that way, i came in mid fight and would like to know what i'm looking at. I appreciate any advice

Re: Gang Assault 2nd Degree

This is an extremely serious charge, the first thing that you should know is that you should ensure you have proper representation.

Such a charge could potentially cause you to face serious time in prison. However, the possible punishment would also be dependant on any priors you may have, also if those priors are deemed violent offenses.
