Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Lenght and Type of Bond.
He is in jail awaiting sentancing. Can they revoke his bond before sentancing
just to decide sexual predator status if they have not upon arrival? What exactly
does revoked bond mean? Is there a way to change that? Can you make monthly
payments to a lawyer? I've never had to deal with anything legal this way, I
appoligize, thank you for your time.

It is not unusual for the Judge to revoke the bond after a conviction or plea to a charge that is likely to result in jail or prison time. The time spent in jail before sentencing should be credited against any sentence that is imposed.
Most criminal attorneys will want to be paid up front.
