While it is not a crime in Ohio to leave the state while charges are pending against you for drunk driving, a bench warrant will be issued for your arrest when you do not show for your next hearing. The next time you come into contact with the police in a manner in which they have to run your driver's license (perhaps a speeding ticket or something minor like that) the computer system will very likely alert the officer that there is a warrant out for your arrest in Ohio and back you will go to see a judge who will not likely be pleased with your conduct.

Best to sort it out now rather than put your life on hold for what could be several years and then have to face the music anyway when you are finally caught.
