Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Attorney I can depend on

I want to file for divorce as soon as possible. I would have done this months ago but have yet to have anyone refer me to an attorney who they would recommend after THEIR divorce. I realize that there are no winners in divorce, everyone loses. All I am asking is for someone who will be as attentive during the final days as they are during the first appointment. I want someone who will answer my calls in a timely manner and who will try to get me a fair settlement as quickly as possible. After collecting a retainer, what assurance do I have that I will get what I am paying for? I have a case involving years of abuse, both physical and mental and the hiding of funds. Thank you for your answer.

An attorney-client relationship is all about personal relationship. You have to decide if you can work with a person befor hiring him/her. Determining value of services is a very subjective thing. I try to provide my clients with an itemized bill whenever requested. It sounds like your prospective case may be a little more time intensive than usual due to the investigative resources that may need to be used, and the witnesses that will have to be interviewed.
