Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

common law marraige?

I've lived w/ a girlfriend for 8 yrs & bought a house 2 1/2 yrs ago. (Mortgage in my name only) She has paid the utility bills which are in her name. I estimate she has paid about 1/3 of the cost of living while in the house. What, if anything is she owed if we break up?

Nothing. Unless it is shown that she contributed to the mortgage. At which point she may be entitled to a portion of the equity in the home.
