Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I filed on behalf of my husband of 4 yrs and myself a petition for dissolution in Ohio. We have lived separately for over a year. He has since left the state. We recently were mailed the court date for the dissolution and now he is saying he can not attend because of work obligations. What is my next step? Will the dissolution still be granted if only I appear?

The disolution could be turned into a divorce and then if he doesn't show it would go uncontested. You would have your divorce. Ed DiCato
