Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Husband walked out, I cannot afford an attorney

My husband abandoned me and my children in October. He now lives rent free, with his parents and has no bills other than a car payment and cell phone. He was the one that left us and wanted the divorce. He has still yet to file any paperwork for the dissolution, and says he has no idea when he will get around to it. I am wishing to relocate to my home state of California, and do not have time to wait around for him to ''get around to it.'' I just want to get on with my life and be single again. I do not want to stay in Ohio one minute longer and miss my family back home. Is there any affordable way for me to go about this on my own?

You might want to check with your locsl county's domestic relations court to see if they have any suggested forms for you to use. If you are receiving public assistance, the county will file against him for reim bursement of the support that is paid to you and the children.
