Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Keeping My Child Away From Family Members

Is there a way to legally keep my child away from his father's mother when I take my boyfriend to court for custody? My childs grandmother.

Here is my dillema...I really would like to end my relationship with child's father but I have been prolonging it for a year now due to my childs safety. Right now I know where my child is, and I can keep my child away from his father's mother. His mother has been diagonsed depressed, has been on suicidal watch at a hospital, takes all kinds of strong medications like xanax, prozac, and on top of all this she drinks and does drugs. Every week she literally goes to the hospital with a panic attack. She is a nut case. And she is always trying to dig her claws into my son. I keep her away from child as much as I possibly can I dont want her to even know her. But if my boyfriend has visitation rights to him ....I won't know if my son is around his psycho grandmother. The woman is dangerous to herself, she is definatly dangerous to a child. Is there anyway I can prevent her from seeing my kid legally?

Re: Keeping My Child Away From Family Members

I would seek an order from the court restraining her from contact or supervised visitations.
