Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Notification of a hearing

There was a hearing regarding reduction of child support and lawyers fees that I was not aware of. The papers said '' all parties were properly noticed but I never received notice. The ruling was against me and I wasn't even there to defend myself. What should I do?

Re: Notification of a hearing

You have to file an appeal of the court's decision, and make sure you check the court file as to when and where notice was sent. It's your fault if you did not keep the court updated with your address.
