i need help

i was never notified of the divorce court date

i recieved a letter from his lawyer stating that its over 13yrs i get nothing can you help me

You need to go to the courthouse in the county where the divorce is, and check the docket to see if they have good service on you. You then to get either Legal Aid or a lawyer, and see about filing a Civil Rule 60(B) motion for relief from judgment. This needs to be done ASAP.

You need to reopen the case. There is a legal manuver called 60(B) to reopen the case, if you can show through the court record that you never received notice. You will need to look to the Court record to see if the certified mail was received. I would strongly suggest contacting an attorney.
