Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Separation

My husband has become verbally abusive and angry all of the time. He refuses to get help for himself. I read self-help books, go to counseling, and am on an anti-depressant. I have had enough. How can I get him out of the house til he gets help? Should I change the locks and leave a suitcase for him by the curb?

Re: Separation

Domestic violence does not just include physical violence. It can also include mental abuse. It is my suggestion that you contact the local battered womens shelter or file a domestic violence charge in the Domestic relations court. This will serve to evict him from the house and make him pay support.Good Luck!!!
