Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Question...

If a defendant of a CIVIL suit lives in Ohio and does not appear to the civil suit (out of state) for whatever reason can a warrant be issued for FUGATIVE FROM JUSTICE ??

The defendant did not live in the other state nor were they there during the time of the CIVIL suit filing ....

Not appearing in a civil case does not make you a fugitive, but it can have other serious consequences. Among them is entry of a default judgment against you. To find out what consequences you might be facing, you should re-submit this question under the state where the case was filed instead of the state where you live.
