Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio

I know a person who is trying to obtain his green card and is currently an applicant for an I - 485. He is sponsored by the company he works for. I have learned that he cannot earn income from other sources of employment, other than the company that is sponsoring him. Is this correct?

if this is correct, is there another way we can partner that wwill not interfere with his immigration process?

This person has to consult a knowledgeable immigration attorney directly and inquire what he can and can't do.

Since you are an unrelated person, it seems that you are not fully aware of this individual's current status in USA. It's important to know more about his situation, e.g., when the I-485 was filed, did he receive a separate wok authorization, etc etc.
