Petitioning children from Mexico

My boyfriend is married to a Mexican and she wants him to petition for her children. What would his responsibilities be?? They have been married for four years.

Hi, there are several responsibilities, the most basic being that he would be responsible to pay for any public assistance recieved on behalf of the children, if any, for the next ten years.
