Doctor Administered Medication That I Was Allergic To
What action should I take against a doctor and staff that gave me medication that I was allergic to and did not give anything to counter it for 5 hrs. Leaving me to swell and itch while the attending nurse watched and made comments but did not get the doctor or communicate to him that I was having an allergic reaction to the meds and was left alone in the room for 5 hours alone?

Did they know that you were allergic to this medicine before they gave it to you? Did they ask?
