Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio

Hi, my name is Ms.Davis & I was wondering if I could sue for chemical damage done to my hair by a professional hair dresser who owned the hair salon. It happen in at the begining of 2009, i didn't do anything about it then because i was under the impression that she no long lived here in cleveland. I just found out that not only is she still here, but she is also in another hair salon! I don't know if it's to late to pursue anything or even if I have a case to pursue? can someone please help me! i would gladly appreciate it. Thank You!

The big question in this case is probably whether your damages are significant enough to make it worthwhile to pursue an action against her. You may want to consider filing in small claims court if you can't get a lawyer interested in the case. The fee to file such cases is generally modest and the process less daunting than general jurisdiction litigation. If you do file in small claims, be sure to bring plenty of evidence of damage to your hearing (e.g., photos, receipts, witness testimony, detailed costs to fix the problem, accounts of missed work or events, etc.)

If it's not worth it, you can still file complaints with your local Better Business Bureau and the state cosmetology licensing board in Columbus.
