Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio
Tial court record
I'm doing legal research on a law and economics topic. In support of that research, I'd like to get my hands on the trial court records from a particular case -- including the reports filed by expert witnesses. Is it possible to obtain these records, and if so, how would I go about it?

You can go to the County courthouse (if the travel distance is reasonable) and look at the file. You will be able to make copies of all of the material as the court filings are public record. If the courthouse is not within driving distance, then call the clerk of courts' office and they may be able to copy the entire file for you and mail it. If what you want is not in the file, then if you know the attorneys' names, they may be willing to provide you with the information you seek.
