Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio

My wifes car was hit while she was at work(private property) and the person fled. The company reviewed security tapes and determined there was only one white suv(same color as the paint left by damage) parked by her that day. They also determined the driver. What are my options to dealing with this?

You should contact the driver and tell him/her that you suspect that his/her car hit yours and that you want him/her to pay for the damages. If the person refuses, then you can file a lawsuit against the person and submit your proof (the video tapes) to the court at the hearing. If the court thinks you proved your case, then you will get a judgment in the amount it cost to fix your car.
