Caught in a speed trap
I was caught in a speed trap this morning (as I am sure hundreds of others were), clocked at 80mph in a 55mph zone in Akron. The officer clocked me with Laser and marked the ticket as ''unreasonable for conditions.'' As there were dozens of cars pulled over during my citation, I think the officer clocked a different car, specifically because I was not going that fast, and my radar detector (has never failed before) never went off. I have a clean driving record. I want to go to court to attest this. How should I go about it, and what are my chances of having this charge dropped?

Enter a plae of not guilty at your first appearance. You will then get another court date. At that 2nd court date, if the officer shows up (he likely will) talk with the prosecutor to get charges reduced or dropped.
