School Bus traffic violation?

Hello, I am 35 year old mom with 2 kids of my own. I received my 1st and only ticket 9 years ago and consider myself a very safe driver.

Today in the morning, while I was dropping my daughter at school, I saw the yellow lights flasing of a school bus. Since it was yellow (not red), I proceeded slowly. THe driver honked at me and I stopped briefly. I then went away not knowing what to do. Am I going to get a ticket now? Will I be on probation? I sincerely thought that I could drive when the light was flashing yellow. In my neighborhood, the bus drivers usually have the yellows on and let the traffic pass if they are very close to the bus.

I feel terrible. Please tell me what I could be facing.

Doesnt sound too serious....you will find out if you get a letter in the mail...if you do, you can certainly handle this, and just call me directly for guidance....given your good record you should seek dismissal...if that doesnt happen, your worst case scenario is $175 and 2 points on your license. 216.952.1990
