Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio

I was given a speeding ticket today and the officer returned from his car with the blue copy only and handed it to me without asking me to sign any copies. is it valid or beatable?

Probably not, unless you can argue successfully that you never received the ticket (which would be a lie). Having you sign is just evidence that you received the summons and must act. If the judge is a stickler for process perhaps you can catch a break. Don't really know.
