Legal Question in Veterans Law in Ohio

other than honorable upgrade

Im May ,1973 I agreed to accept an undesirable discharge to avoid prosecution and being awarded a Bad Conduct Discharge from a prior conviction that was later overturned on appeal . I accepted this discharge as I had not been home in 17 months including a stint in Viet Nam and just hit someone so I could come home . Is application a waste of time or conduit for humiliation .

Re: other than honorable upgrade

The outcome depends on a number of factors, including how you have lived your life since exiting the service. You should apply and see if thet will upgrade your discharge. Contact the Disabled American Veterans or the Paralyzed Veterans of America for assistance with these issues.
