Claiming dead relitives funds

My mother pasted a couple of months ago and my brother and I have decovered she has some money in the bank and a small amount of stock with the company she worked for, there is no will or any estate etc. to settle so no probate . How do we attempt to claim these funds?

You would have to file an application to administer the estate without a will through your probate court.

You will probably have to go through the Probate court to have the funds released to the proper people under the law.
