Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

my dad died and did not have a will or any beneficiaries

What do I need to do now? Am I responsible for the debt that is owed? Since the house and other assets will end up in probate court what do I need to do? Since there was not a beneficiary on the life insurance can the funeral expenses be covered in there first or after any creditors are paid?

It sounds as though your father's assets will be probated without a will. You may be able to negotiate some of his debts down or some may be forgiven. I suggest contacting a lawyer.
