power of attorney inheritance?

can a person who is serving in the capacity of ''power of attorney'' inherit any part of the estate they are working with?

Yes you can inherit, but, the Court will look at the inheritance very closely to see if there was any undue influence in preparing the will. It might be a good idea to have the signing of the will videotaped to show that the will was entered into freely and without undue influence.
