Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

will no longer relevant?

If a person decides to bestow the bequests in a will while still alive what happens to the will assuming there are no other bequests or property other than that which is co-owned with right of survivorship? Does the will automatically become obsolete or do you have to take some official action?

Re: will no longer relevant?

Unless those "bequests" are considered advances against an inheritance, those bequests are discounted from the total value of the estate at the time of death.
