Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Oklahoma

ive recently been served from citi that they were going to sue me for about 1200. i contacted the attorney collection agency they posted to call on the summons and tried to workout payments i could pay all of the ballance due next month, but i was served on the 8th i believe so and he couldnt exceed it until the 30th which i wouldnt have the money then so he said the summons will still go through for me getting sued. im in college so the only way i could come up with that money is by getting a loan which i wont have until the middle of next month. what happens next? is this going to destroy my credit. all i needed was more time and i could pay all of it. do i need an attorney and do i have to go to court?? even though i contacted the agency and tried to workout an arragenment?? i need help i have no idea what to do. i live in tulsa county. thank so much

Waht are you being sued for? Do not negotiate with credit company just like that. I am willing to refer you to someone who deals with credit agencies?
