What is the Statute of Limitations on collecting overriding royalty's from past years ? Thank you

You will have to provide additional information for anyone to answer this inquiry. Presumably, you are asking about royalties owed pursuant to some kind of license agreement.

Most licenses include a choice of law clause. If your license has such a clause, then the question can be answered by examining the statute of limitations for contract actions under the applicable state law.

If the license is silent on governing law, then an attorney would have to engage in a relatively complex analysis of the contract and the "conflicts of laws" approach of the various states whose laws might be applied by a court hearing the case.
