Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

hi i have custody of my 18 yr old daughter, i realize she is a adult but she just moved in her mothers house and is going to alternative school. her mother is now trying to get child support even though i have had her all her life and havent got a penny from her. my question is this even though she is 18 is she legally a adult if she is still in highschool and going for child support? can i go get her and make her come home with my court order? i live in oklahoma thanks

Look at the divorce decree. If you have custody and you are not ordered to pay her, the answer is no.

If you daughter is 18 now, then you do not pay anything. Since she is an adult, you cannot force her to come back. If she stays away, then you are not required to pay for her care or support.
