Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

signing over rights of children

I have 3 children with a woman who I was never married to.

I'm married now and she is engaged, the mother of the children and I have agreed that it would be best for everyone if I signed over my rights to the children. I would like to know what this would entail and if I will be removed from any further obligations. I understand that I would still be obligated to my back support, just need to know what it takes to get this done and if I would have any future obligations!

Thank you

Re: signing over rights of children

Oklahoma statute title 10 section 7006-1.1 discusses termination of parental rights. I would suggest you include the stipulate of no further support in your petition and order.
